I am always glad to talk about housing markets, prudential policies and agent-based modelling, whether that’s a question about my work, an idea for collaboration or a policy problem you’re working on. I’m equally happy to talk about data: much of my research draws on large-scale granular data, and I enjoy discussing how to turn complex data into evidence that informs policy. Having set research strategy and led research communities at the Bank of England, I also enjoy conversations about research leadership: how to build a strong research culture, develop researchers and connect frontier ideas with policy practice.
